Bre Tomey was ready to start touring with a Shakespeare company in June. The New York University drama graduate landed an acting job with a theater company that she admired and pursued for almost a year. But a day before she was supposed to move from New York to Virginia to start working for the theater company, the tour was canceled. Coronavirus was spreading across the country and the world. She had to change plans and decided to move home to Santa Clarita and start a program to help students pursue careers in the arts. She and her friends are turning a challenging time in a pandemic to support students who share a passion for drama and music.
